With just 3 days left for its release, Salman Khan’s Sikandar is witnessing a disappointing trend in advance ticket sales on BookMyShow (BMS). Despite high expectations and a strong promotional campaign, the pre-sale numbers are significantly lower than anticipated, signaling trouble for the much-awaited Eid release.
Sikandar has reportedly sold far fewer tickets compared to historical benchmarks, with current pre-sale figures trailing behind Salman’s previous Eid releases. To make matters worse, Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal, recorded 165% higher advance booking numbers at the same point before its release, highlighting a stark contrast in audience interest.
Trade analysts are now expressing concern over Sikandar’s box office opening, which might fall short of industry predictions. Salman Khan’s last few films, including Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, also struggled with pre-sales, and Sikandar seems to be following a similar trajectory.
With just a few days left, all eyes are on whether the film can generate last-minute momentum to improve its opening numbers. The industry is hopeful that Salman’s loyal fanbase will drive footfalls during the festive period.
Stay tuned for further updates on Sikandar’s box office performance!
